• The program proposes for more coherent and robust responses to food and nutrition insecurity with the establishment of the SRD program, distributing food parcels to food insecure households in distress across KZN. • The SRDs are separated into three categories which are Cat.1 for 1-2 people in a household, Cat.2 for 3-5 people in a household and Cat.3 for 6 or more people, which meet different family needs. The estimated number of households that is expected to be reached is 35 000.
